Six-Panel Cloisonné Enamel ‘Birds of Paradise’ Screen, Qing Dynasty,19th Century

Each with a central scene rendered in cloisonné enamel depicting seasonal birds and flowers including geese swimming in a lotus pond, a rooster and hen resting beneath sunflowers, cranes perched on pine and magpies in a flowering tree of Chinese dates, the upper panels alternating between carved scenes of sparrows and chrysanthemum, the lower section lined with a border of ‘100 antiques’
each panel 75.2" x 16.1" — 191 x 41 cm.
