Lot 213 Details
BOND ESTATES ST. EDEN RED WINE 2009 (1)

Napa Valley.
scuffed label

The 2009 Proprietary Blend St. Eden is simply stunning. A rich, resonant bouquet melds seamlessly into layers of fruit as the 2009 shows off its breathtaking pedigree and sheer class. There is virtually no perception of tannin in this voluptuous, beautifully balanced Cabernet Sauvignon. Freshly cut roses and a hint of cinnamon add complexity on the finish, but ultimately the St. Eden is first and foremost a wine of textural brilliance and spherical palate presence. Anticipated maturity: 2019-2034. December 2012 WA 97

BOND ESTATES ST. EDEN RED WINE 2010 (1)

Napa Valley.

From the valley floor, the 2010 St. Eden exhibits copious notes of creme de cassis, loamy, dusty soil undertones, forest floor, toasty oak and plenty of sweet tannin in its full-bodied, massive personality. Again, these wines are not meant for near-term gratification, so 5-6 years of cellaring is warranted. This is another 30-year wine from Bond. October 2013 Drink: 2018-2048 WA 95
