Provenance:

An Important Collection of Indian Miniature Paintings from a Private Toronto Estate

Highly influenced by the Royal Ontario Museum’s collection of South Asian art, the collector amassed his collection beginning in the early 1960s from a handful of local Toronto galleries such as The Hundred Antiques, Isaacs Gallery, and Dunkelman Gallery. His acquisitions spanned well into the 2000s, frequently purchasing from auctions in the past such as Waddington’s as well.
