Lot Report

Note:

Red, purple, green, grey, blue, yellow brown inks employed in this print create a dazzling jewel-like gradation. The kaleidoscopic range of colours are reminiscent of the dance of the Northern lights.

Artist and printmaker, Syollie Amituk captures the majesty of an arctic winter, using the stencil element to create a sense of atmosphere against the crisply rendered details of the stonecut elements.
