CONDITION DETAILS

-the painting is in good condition
-there is some uneven varnish on the work in some areas (including the bottom edge)
-there is abrasion from the frame along all four edges of the work
-there is a 4 1/2 ins white line along the top edge (on the left side), which appears to be from the contact of the frame
-along the right side, near the bottom there is a 3/4 ins gold line, which may have been caused by the frame being touched up while the work was present (or possibly having the work reframed before the paint had completely dried on the frame)
