With everyone’s health and safety our top priority, here’s what Waddington’s is doing to protect our clients and staff and prevent the spread of COVID-19.
Our offices and Galleries Are Accessible by Appointment
Previews by Appointment
Access to our office and gallery is restricted as per public health guidelines. However, we are pleased to provide private appointments for previews observing COVID-19 safety protocols such as mandated masks, wearing gloves, physical distancing, and reduced number of people in the gallery.
We are also happy to provide additional photographs, detailed information or condition reports via email or video, and are always pleased to connect over the telephone.
Curbside Pick Ups & Drop Offs
We are pleased to provide safe options for curb side pick up of your purchased items, as well as receiving consignments, at our gallery. Contact us to find out more, or book an appointment.
Please note that all appointments require two business days’ notice – we appreciate your patience and understanding.
Client site visits
For the duration of the increased caution in Ontario, we are pausing visits to clients’ homes or offices. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but believe this is in all of our best interest.
We are pleased to meet with you by telephone or over video to discuss items you maybe considering for consignment, or to provide additional information about a current auction.
What We’re Doing
In addition to increased cleaning of our offices and gallery, as well as a weekly deep cleanse, our onsite team adheres to strict guidelines, which include:
- Wearing masks
- Physical distancing
- Frequent handwashing
- Completing a Health Declaration upon arrival at the office every day
- Disinfecting client and common areas immediately following use
- Providing detailed safety protocols when arranging pick up, drop off and preview appointments
- Quarantining all incoming consignments to ensure safe unpacking practices
Additionally, many of our staff continue to work remotely.
What we ask you to do
Please observe the precautionary measures we have put in place. If you have questions or concerns, please contact us.
Please also be aware that due to some of the precautions we are required to observe, we are not always able to accommodate your requests for immediate pick ups or drop offs.
We are working on a by-appointment schedule that requires a minimum of two business days’ notice.
Please note that all our staff are working hard to meet your requests within a safe and manageable environment.
